Ethics and Privacy Policy

Confidentiality and privacy are paramount, unless required otherwise by law. As a coach and client, we should strive to be as honest as possible with each other, and what happens in the coaching sessions remains private. The coaching I provide through my company, Culmen Coaching AB, operates under the principle that both the client and the coach adhere to the ethics and confidentiality recommended by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Privacy Policy

The processing and protection of clients’ personal data within Culmen Coaching AB (organization number 559365-5391) complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can read more about GDPR and personal data on the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection’s website: : https://www.imy.se/

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The GDPR is designed to protect fundamental rights and freedoms, particularly the right of individuals to have their personal data protected. The GDPR applies throughout the EU and aims to create a uniform and equivalent level of protection for personal data, so that the free flow of data within the EU and EEA is not hindered.

What is Personal Data?

Personal data is any information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a living individual. This can include names, addresses, and personal identification numbers. Photos of individuals are also classified as personal data. Even audio recordings stored digitally can be personal data, even if no names are mentioned in the recording.

Examples of personal data include your name, address, email address, personal identification number, ID card number, phone number, IP address while browsing the web, and a photo of you.

Examples of information that are not considered personal data include organization numbers (except in the case of sole proprietorships, where it is considered personal data) and email addresses such as info@company.se.

Categories of Personal Data Collected by Culmen Coaching AB

Names, email addresses, and phone numbers of clients at Culmen Coaching AB are stored in a registry. Only I (Gabriella Olshammar) as the authorized signatory of Culmen Coaching AB have access to this registry.

Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties

The only exception when your personal information may be transferred to a third party is if I, as a coach at Culmen Coaching AB, with your consent, wish to share your name and contact details with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). The purpose would be for ICF to conduct random checks on some of my clients.

Before the first coaching session (before the coaching relationship begins), the client will receive a simple agreement to review. This agreement includes a request for consent to the transfer of personal data as described above.

As a client, you can at any time inform me if you do not wish for your personal data to be shared with third parties (ICF) or if you wish for your data to be removed from Culmen Coaching AB’s registry.
